Police responded to the incident at the corner of Burnt Tavern Road and Burrsville Road in Brick at 10:24 a.m., officials said. Officers on the scene determined that the driver accidentally accelerated instead of braking while pulling into a parking spot, authorities said.The store is temporarily closed until the building and health departments deem it safe to reopen.
