According to a press release, McEntire and Parton will share hosting duties with Underwood in “celebrating legendary women in country music." Combined, the three women hold 124 CMA Awards nominations and 22 total wins. Eleven of those wins are for female vocalist of the year.
“It’s an incredible honor to welcome Carrie, Reba and Dolly to the CMA Awards stage this year,” says Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer, in a statement. “In addition to awarding the year’s best and brightest in the genre, ‘The 53rd Annual CMA Awards’ will celebrate the legacy of women within Country Music, and we couldn’t think of a more dynamic group of women to host the show.”
The CMA Awards broadcasts live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Nov. 13 at 8/7c on ABC. Nominees for the awards show will be revealed on Aug. 28. has reached out to Paisley for comment. The singer recently shared his excitement on social media, writing, "As a fan of all 3 of these amazing women, I can’t wait to watch."
