Adi Shankar (Castlevania, Dredd) really wants to make a movie where GIJoe crosses over with Transformers. 'I'd want to cross it over with Transformers... I have a whole kind of concept for it, as well... It's a more technicolor take on G.I. Joe.'
Castlevania's Adi Shankar discusses his idea for a G.I. Joe and Transformers crossover film. After achieving success as a producer with the 2011 feature, The Grey, a project that would earn the number one spot at the North American box office, and having founded the media company,"Bootleg Universe," in 2012, Shankar has established himself as a rising influence in the entertainment industry.
The G.I. Joe movies have been trying to successfully launch a franchise for some time now, dating back to 2009 with the release of their first entry, The Rise of Cobra, starring Channing Tatum, followed by 2013's Retaliation. Both films were received negatively by critics, though relative commercial success warranted the development of additional installments. The 2021 series reboot, Snake Eyes: G.I.

I have a whole kind of concept for it, as well... It's more technicolor, I'll put it that way. It's a more technicolor take on G.I. Joe." In addition to The Guardians of Justice, Shankar is working on an Assassin's Creed adaptation, as well as a series based on the popular online game, PUBG. He has spoken in the past about his excitement at getting to make content related to things he personally enjoys, like the Assassin's Creed games. In fact, with a lot of his recent filmography stemming from source materials, fans have come to expect a blend of faithfulness and ingenuity in the projects he puts out.
Fans of Shankar and his projects are familiar with his ability to reimagine already established worlds, so a technicolor G.I. Joe crossover with Transformers could end up being more effective than one might initially think. With film producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura saying a G.I. Joe/Transformers crossover is inevitable, Shankar's ideas could actually come to light. As fans wait to see if his concept for G.I.
