BREAKING Celebrity chef Mario Batali has been cleared of sexual misconduct following a criminal trial in Boston.
Chef Mario Batali and his former partner have been ordered to pay $600,000 in a settlement after an investigation by the NY Attorney General's Office.
The trial opened Monday with Batali - in a surprise move - waiving his right to a jury trial and opting instead to have the judge decide his fate. In delivering the verdict, Boston Municipal Court Judge James Stanton agreed with the contention that the accuser had credibility issues. Both the accuser and Batali left the courtroom without speaking to reporters.
