Celtics coach Ime Udoka’s alleged dalliance will cost him the entire 2022-23 NBA season.
The organization announced Thursday that Udoka has been suspended for the 2022-23 season after having what has been reported as, a violation of the franchise’s code of conduct.
The 45-year-old Udoka, who was hired by the Celtics from Steve Nash’s coaching staff with the Nets in 2021,“I want to apologize to our players, fans, the entire Celtics organization, and my family for letting them down,” Udoka said in a statement. “I am sorry for putting the team in this difficult situation, and I accept the team’s decision. Out of respect for everyone involved, I will have no further comment.
