The Boston Celtics are set to hire Charles Lee as their lead assistant coach. Lee will join Joe Mazzulla's staff, as Boston remakes their assistant coach ranks.
Lee was the associate head coach for the Milwaukee Bucks this past season. He's interviewed for several head coaching positions over the last few years, while coaching under Mike Budenholzer. In addition to coaching in Milwaukee, Lee was an assistant for the Atlanta Hawks. Boston has also hired Sam Cassell as an assistant coach this summer. The Celtics are looking to add experience to Mazzulla's staff, as he enters his second season as the team's head coach.
