The fatal shooting took place at a parking lot in Quarryville, Lancaster County, on Valentine's Day 2021.
A Quarryville woman who lured her husband to a bank parking lot before shooting him repeatedly will spend the rest of her life in state prison, a Lancaster County judge ruled this week.that ended Dec. 21, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office.
The investigation found that Danielle Bewley shot and killed Mitchell Bewley after luring him to a PNC Bank parking lot in Strasburg at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 14, 2021, according to the DA’s office. When state police arrived at the couple’s shared home in East Drumore Township 15 minutes after the shooting, a light turned on and off inside and they could hear a woman’s voice, the court documents stated.
There was testimony that Danielle Bewley made previous threats to kill her husband and evidence of calls between her and her friends and family saying she had shot Mitchell Bewley, including saying that “he got what he deserved.”
