As an investigation into the deaths of two men in Arizona continues, we are starting to learn more about the criminal past of two people arrested in connection with the incident. Roberto Bernal and Christina Bernal have been arrested for alleged kidnapping, assault, and weapons offenses. They are currently not accused of murder.
On Aug. 17, Maricopa County Sheriff Paul Penzone offered new details on the case, including the identification of one of the victims as 51-year-old Chad Holvig.
Besides Holvig's body, authorities also found the body of 31-year-old Anthony Vayne. Investigators were not looking for Vayne when they discovered his body while serving a search warrant at a Goodyear property. Meanwhile, court records are revealing the extensive criminal history of those arrested at the home where Horvig and Vayne's bodies were found.
