Chagrin Falls Council to apply for federal grant for work on Locust Lane
Construction has started on Locust Lane in Chagrin Falls as the culvert is being replaced . More work on the street could be in the works, as the village applied for a federal wetlands grant. to reduce storm water run-off.CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio -- At the August 28 Chagrin Falls Village Council Meeting, village council approved applying for a federal grant that would assist in reducing storm-water run-off for residents on Locust Lane, Lyndale Drive, and the back of Falls Walk Way.
Jamieson emphasized that no plans would be made until the affected residents had the opportunity to meet with village leaders. Chagrin Falls Village Council should be notified by the end of September or early October if the grant has been awarded to the village.
