The reality star opens up about"a really unfortunate accident," as his girlfriend gives new details about what happened.
On both social media pages, the two said Campbell has gone blind in one eye thanks to a rogue champagne cork."Thanks for all the messages and support I've got over the last couple days they're all very much appreciated," he wrote, alongside a photo of him with a patch over his eye in a hospital bed.
This morning, he took to Twitter to say he got 7 stitches in his eye and claimed doctors told him "it's unlikely I'll see properly again." He added, "They done a good job saving it as they said I might loose my whole eye to begin with. But Im hopeful and don’t want to believe my eye is gone forever. Anything is possible.
When asked if he'd be blind "forever," Campbell said, "I always preach about being patient and having hope. I think the body, especially my body, can heal from anything. I'm gonna get some vitamins." Crossley added, "It's too soon to tell."
