Charlie Cox discusses the possibility of his Netflix co-stars returning in the MCU's upcoming Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again. Last year's incredibly successful release of Spider-Man: No Way Home shocked audiences when it reintroduced Cox's Matt Murdock, otherwise known as Daredevil, through a brief, but incredibly exciting cameo.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Cox's iteration of the comic-book hero was first introduced in Netflix's incredibly popular Daredevil series, which debuted in 2015 and ran for three successful seasons prior to its cancelation in 2018. The series followed Matt Murdock and his best friend Foggy Nelson through their various legal pursuits as attorneys-at-law, while also introducing Deborah Ann Woll as their curious friend Karen Page.
It was an absolute delight to work with everyone on all of those shows at Netflix. They were the beating heart of all of those shows. I would be honored and thrilled to work with any of them again. I would hate to single anyone out and I would hate to speculate because I just don’t know what the plan is going forward. That’s way above my pay grade. There are so many great stories to tell. There are stories to tell again. That wouldn’t be inconsistent with what they do in the comic book universe.
Charlie Cox’s Daredevil Co-stars Are Up For Returning Following the official announcement of Cox's return in Daredevil: Born Again, a number of the actor's co-stars have expressed their desire to reprise their roles within the MCU.
With Daredevil: Born Again not set to enter production until 2023, there is every chance that negotiations and discussions could be going on behind the scenes. Since Cox is now likely getting accustomed to the intense secrecy that Marvel operates under, it's fair to assume the actor will be on high alert for fear of revealing any sort of spoilers, though his unsure response seems incredibly sincere.
