Chelsea Cutler is navigating adulthood in her new single, "How to Be Human," released on Friday .
"Thought I'd know it all by 21/But I still don't know//How to be human/Still don't know how to be human," the 22-year-old breakout star robotically croons in her characteristically sparkling voice. “‘How To Be Human’ is a really special song for me because it really encompasses the overall theme of what I’ve spent the last year writing about: being in your early 20’s, growing up, and becoming an adult," she said in a press release of the tune.
Before signing with Republic Records this year, Cutler gained recognition for her covers on Soundcloud and her subsequent viral single, 2017's "Your Shirt." In 2018, she dropped her sophomore mixtape, "How to Be Human" is included on the singer's upcoming debut full-length album This fall, she will perform across Europe with Lauv on his ~ how i’m feeling ~ tour.
