Best of Chicago Celebration is back! On June 1 at Metro Chicago, the Chicago Reader is thrilled to host its iconic event of celebrating the Best of Chicago–nominated and voted by YOU. Prices go up soon, don't be left out.
Metro has stairs to reach the main event space. Attendees of the main event space will be standing for the majority of the event while enjoying refreshments and visiting vendor booths. For guests who use wheelchairs or need to avoid stairs, we have reserved an accessible area nearby with live feed of the event with captioning. To reserve a place for you and any guests, please contact
as soon as possible after purchasing your ticket. Entry instructions will be provided after you contact us.Open captioning of the performances and spoken announcements will be available at the main event space at Metro. There are stairs to reach this main event space. For the best sight lines of the captioning and the main event stage, limited reserved seating is available for people who are d/Deaf or hard of hearing and their guests in the mezzanine, which requires additional stairs to reach.
