The Kansas City Chiefs will be keeping a watchful eye on Travis Kelce's ailing ankle with the Denver Broncos ahead Thursday night. Kelce hurt it in Sunday's win over the Minnesota Vikings, though he managed to return after halftime and finish the game. The Chiefs’ offense wasn’t the same, either, with Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the crew struggling much of the way in a “We have guys that where it might have been a three-tight end set, we throw a receiver in there and stuff like that. We have guys that are able to learn that, know the offense,” Mahomes said.
Kelce has proven to be one of the most durable players in the league, though, and that he was able to return in the second half gives Kansas City hope that he will be on the field again Thursday night.
