Cineworld Canada deal has makings of a good sequel AlecMac11
Cinema operator Cineworld on Dec. 16 announced a C$2.8 billion takeover of Cineplex, which operates Canada’s largest chain of cinemas. The London-listed company said in a statement it would pay C$34 a share in cash, in a deal supported by both Cineworld and Cineplex’s boards.
