Since 2005, the visually spectacular and physically daring 'Corteo' has amazed audiences in 20 countries on four continents.
is heading to Columbus in June for five performances of its enchanting arena production,"Corteo." The show, which premiered in Montreal in 2005, has dazzled more than 10 million spectators in 20 countries on four continents.
"Corteo," which means"cortege" in Italian, is a joyous procession, a festive parade imagined by a clown. In this production, the clown imagines his own funeral taking place in a carnival atmosphere, watched over by angels. The show highlights the strength and fragility of the clown, as well as his wisdom and kindness, to illustrate the portion of humanity that is within each of us.
