This research could have a worldwide impact by potentially decreasing the risk of sudden unexplained deaths among epilepsy patients, said Clinic lead researcher, director of the Charles Shor Epilepsy Center and vice chair of strategy and development at the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute.
