Rescuers are searching for four crew members of a cargo ship that overturned and caught fire near a port on the Georgia coast
U.S. rescuers searched for four missing crew members believed to be trapped in the engine room of a Korean-owned automobile-transport ship that caught fire and overturned off the Georgia coast on Sunday. Operations were being hampered by smoke and the risk of the ship sinking, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.
The 200-meter long Golden Ray is operated by South Korea’s Hyundai Glovis, the car shipping arm of Hyundai Motors, that runs about 60 similar car carriers.
