ICE Futures Singapore's bitcoin futures contracts will now be known as CoinDesk Bitcoin Futures contracts.
CoinDesk Indices has teamed with ICE Futures Singapore for a rebranding of that exchange's bitcoin futures contracts, which will now be known as CoinDesk Bitcoin Futures contracts , according to a press release.
The BMC will utilize the CoinDesk Bitcoin Price Index for its monthly contact settlement, said the release, which noted XBX has been in continuous operation since 2014 and serves as the benchmark for roughly $17 billion of assets under management in investment vehicles. "We are excited to expand our presence into the APAC [Asia-Pacific] region through this collaboration with ICE Futures Singapore," said Andy Baehr, managing director at CoinDesk Indices."This move underscores CDI’s commitment to serving global markets and offering world-class solutions to marketplace participants," he added.
