Donald Trump claims he doesn’t have a racist bone in his body, but Colbert would beg to differ
—saying they should “go back” to “the totally broken and crime-infested places from which they came.” That should be evidence enough of Trump’s racism—but just in case, Colbert drove the point home on Tuesday’s“Over the weekend the president bellied up to the bigot buffet with a bunch of racist tweets aimed at four congresswomen of color known in Washington as ‘the Squad,’” Colbert said. “That statement of Trump’s is old-school racism, minus the school.
As for Trump’s assertion that he’s not actually racist? “You have said a lot of racist things,” Colbert countered. “You demanded the execution of the Central Park Five, who were innocent. You saidwas from Kenya. You wanted to ban all Muslims. You said Mexicans were murderers. Racism is your brand. It’s like Colonel Sanders saying, ‘I don’t have a finger-lickin’ bone in my body.’”
