LSU opens as a 12.5-point favorite over No. 4 Oklahoma, and No. 3 Clemson opens as a two-point favorite over Ohio State, which dropped to No. 2 after Saturday's conference championships.
The College Football Playoff committee announced its final rankings on Sunday afternoon, and the LSU Tigers regained the top spot. LSU flipped places with Ohio State, which dropped to No. 2, and Clemson held firm at No. 3. All of those teams finished the season with 13-0 records and conference titles.
Ohio State and LSU have traded places as the top teams three times since the initial rankings were released on Nov. 5. LSU defeated No. 3 Alabama on Nov. 9 and took over the No. 1 spot. Ohio State regained No. 1 after a win over Penn State, and then kept it after a win over Michigan.
