Local faith leader Brondon Mathis is stuck in Jerusalem amid the attack on Israel, and gave an update to ABC 6.
He told ABC 6 that his flight out of the country was cancelled and at this point he's not sure when he'll be able to get back.Mathis said he takes a yearly faith sabbatical to Israel. He was in a religious service when he heard about the attack. "It is very, very intense," Mathis told ABC 6. "People are kind of walking around in a daze; people are not really going out. There's not many people of the streets. The group that I’m connected to, they’ve lost loved ones ... either don’t know where they are or they have actually be pronounced as dead. There’s check points at every entry way into each city, every exit way out of the city there are check points. There are people pulled over if they’re felt to be suspicious.
