The Columbus City School Board of Education will be asking voters in November for nearly $100 million in annual property tax revenue, seeking a combined levy for operating costs and maintenance.

Three mills, or $38,612,000 per year, would go toward operating expenses, while 4.7 mills, or $60,492,000 per year, would be for maintenance of the district's more than 100 school buildings under the proposal that was approved 7-0 by the board.
