The internet sensation who first went viral for his relatable dad character is now preparing to be the real deal.
The couple shared the news in two different Instagram posts this afternoon. Katie shared the joyful moment captured in a minimalistic photo showcasing her and Kennedy donning neutrals and smiling at the camera, captioned “Baby Boy Kennedy due late February 2023 .” Amid the many congratulations and happy messages, Kennedy jokingly added in the comments, “Read the caption. That’s our gender reveal.”
Instead of just sharing the same photo to his page, Kennedy took things up a notch and created a short video to make the announcement to his followers. In his typical style the comedian makes fun of the so-called “five stages of pregnancy” which are all to relatable. The video starts out with: Stage 1: The panic that often occurs when you first find out you’re pregnant, followed by Stage 2: Lying to everyone else to keep your secret under wraps. Stage 3: The struggles of pregnancy problems from nausea to rage. Stage 4: The happy announcement, no reveal is complete without a photoshoot! Stage 5: Preparation, learning all you can about baby before they come.
The video ends with Kennedy sharing with his followers that he and his wife are indeed expecting and are so thrilled to be parents. Before signing off, Kennedy jokes, “It’s going to be super easy.” with his wife adding “Ohhh yeah super easy.”
