Remember Barbara, who was looking for the woman who helped save her life at Community Hospital? That woman has been found - and she got to thank her guardian angel in person.
INDIANAPOLIS — After more than a week of searching, an Indiana woman got to thank a woman who helped save her life.
On Dec. 8, Barbara was dropped off at the front door of Community Heart and Vascular Hospital. While her husband was parking the car, Barbara collapsed from a cardiac event.On Dec. 16, the nurse who Barbara called her guardian angel visited her in the hospital. "I am so thankful to see you alive," Stephanie Schwebach said."You came in and you fell down right at my feet."
Schwebach says she couldn't get Barbara out of her mind and didn't know if she was alive. She thought of Barbara each day."It's a wonderful person who would do this [and] not even know you," Barbara said earlier this month."If someone hadn't saved me like she did and then [the hospital staff] did, you know, it wouldn't have been good."
