FAIRBANKS, Alaska - After 20 years, the east ramp of the Fairbanks International Airport runway is finally getting some much needed renovations.
The asphalt underlying the tie-down area, which is “where individual aircraft owned by people in our community, park their vehicles,” has reached the end of its longevity. “It’s essential it gets redone, just because of its age,” said Mitchell.
