Conners became the event’s 10th multi-time winner and the first player on the PGA Tour this season to notch the first two wins of his career at the same event, finding his second in his 153rd start. This week was a completely different story, as the 31-year-old who has risen to 40th in the World Golf Rankings entered as one of the favorites and began the final day with a goal of “keeping it really simple.”
An eagle on the 17th hole moved Stevens within one stroke of the lead, as he drove 299 yards to the green and converted a 9-foot putt.
