Possible Green Party presidential candidate Cornel West described President Joe Biden's history on race as a"crime against humanity."
"I've taught in prison for 41 years. And the level of barbarity in our prisons has something to do with that crime bill that he put forward," West said. Besides trashing Biden's record on race, the liberal philosopher echoed complaints Republicans have about the way the president's administration has operated. West called into question why the Secret Service couldn't identify who brought a bag of cocaine into the White House — an event that originally forced a partial evacuation of the premises until the substance could be identified.
