Canada is making face coverings compulsory on all flights — another sign that masks are becoming an unavoidable part of life

At least 3 US states require face-covering in crowded environments, as does Austria and parts of Italy and France. The measures come into force at midday on Monday April 20 and apply to all trips by air to, from, and within Canada. It is part of a broader response to the coronavirus pandemic sweeping the globe.that passengers' mouths and noses must be covered at all times while flying, during airport screening, and at other times when people crowd together.
