The shootings mark the 8th and 9th homicides in York County this year.
The York County coroner has identified two men who were killed Wednesday night.
27-year-old Jordan Simpson, of Springettsbury Township, was found dead in the 500 block of West Market Street on Wednesday, according to the coroner’s office.30-year-old Miguel M. Roman, of York, has been identified as the second fatality from the shooting, according to the coroner’s office. The older man is expected to survive.
Autopsies for Simpson and Roman are scheduled for Friday, which will help determine the cause and manners of death. The coroner said these cases are being investigated as a homicide. The coroner’s office shared that this marks the 8th and 9th homicides of the year in York County, with 8 of them occurring within the city.but died Wednesday evening.
Singletary was found in the 500 block of Walnut Street, according to police. An autopsy is also scheduled for Singletary later this week.
