Cook County Clerk Karen Yarbrough officiated their wedding ceremony Tuesday morning in The Loop.
The lucky couple who won Cook County's first marriage license drawing tied the knot Tuesday. Mandy Fila and Daniel Ferguson, from west suburban Brookfield, beat out more than 100 couples.
Cook County Clerk Karen Yarbrough officiated the wedding ceremony Tuesday morning at the clerk's office in The Loop. The couple takes home a number of gifts, including sparkling wine, wedding flowers, cooking and dance lessons along with a gourmet dinner box. The couple wanted to get married this year - but hadn't done much planning.
After the ceremony, they headed to brunch with their nine-year-old daughter Emily and six-year-old son Noah along with about 20 family members.
