At-home COVID tests and appointments at private clinics and sites are becoming hard to find.
“Due to a recent surge in demand and to retain community-based access to tests in our stores, there may be temporary out-of-stocks for these products onshared concerns that consumers were buying and hoarding large numbers of tests in recent weeks.CVS is limiting the number of tests an individual can buy in person and online to six kits “to ensure equitable access to tests both in store and digitally,” Burke said.
For example, Dallas College has opened two public testing sites at its Mountain View and Richland campuses, Huang said. The Mountain View site is open Monday through Saturday, while the Richland site is open Monday through Thursday. Both sites are open 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and are closed on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, Huang said.
