Eight players from Peterhead FC were vaccinated together in the hope they can act as role models.
The club hope to encourage young people who have not yet had the vaccine to come forward
The club approached NHS Grampian after discovering about half the squad had not had their first vaccine. Peterhead FC general manager Martin Johnston said there were a range of reasons why so many squad members had not been vaccinated sooner.
