A 36-year-old passenger on the MSC Meraviglia has been found dead after falling overboard on the ship's return to Port Canaveral in Florida.
Video released by the Coast Guard shows the moment a Carnival cruise ship passenger was spotted and later rescued from the Gulf of Mexico after falling overboard Nov. 24.on its return to the U.S. was found dead Thursday morning.
The 36-year-old victim fell off the MSC Meraviglia as it was returning to Port Canaveral in Florida, according to local outletCRUISE SHIP PASSENGER WHO TREADED WATER FOR 20 HOURS SPEAKS OUT, SAYS HE NEVER ACCEPTED THAT 'THIS IS IT' No further details on the incident will be released until the victim's next of kin is contacted, authorities said.
