Pac-12 media members are expecting a big season from Colorado’s Travis Hunter. As for the rest of the Buffaloes? It’s more of a wait-and-see approach.
A transfer from Jackson State, Hunter is expected to play a lot for CU at cornerback and wide receiver. In addition to his first-team honors, Hunter received honorable mention as a receiver.
Hunter was the only CU player to get first- or second-team recognition. Two other Buffs received honorable mention: punter Mark Vassett and receiver Jimmy Horn Jr. as a return specialist. Two-time defending champion Utah led the way with six players on the preseason first team. Oregon State and USC both have five players.
