Monique Sellers, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth, said the high of 110 — not reached since Aug. 2, 2011 — was hit about 3:10 p.m. at DFW International Airport. The temperature was a record for the day, topping the previous high of 106, and the highest so far this year.The 110-degree mark tied Friday for the seventh-hottest day ever in the region. The last time Dallas-Fort Worth exceeded 110 was Sept.
