Global tech firm McAfee Corp. is putting a regional headquarters in the Dallas Cowboys Star in Frisco development.
The California-based security software firm is leasing 30,000 square feet in the high-rise at 17 Cowboys Way, according to planning documents filed with the state.
Architect Gensler is designing the space, which McAfee will occupy starting in the middle of this year. “We’re looking forward to partnering closely with the city of Frisco and Frisco Economic Development Corp. as we become one of Frisco’s newest corporate citizens,” McAfee’sBueckert, the company’s vice president of global real estate and workplace strategy, said McAfee chose Frisco because of “the diverse cultural destination the city has become,” as well as opportunities for employees to become involved in the community.
“We believe we all have a responsibility to help shape our local communities and to make a difference,” Bueckert said.
