New office and apartment towers on the way in Dallas' Design District are remaking the area northwest of downtown.
Cook said he’s getting a lot of early interest in the projects, which stand out in the neighborhood of mostly low-rise buildings. He believes his new buildings will be an attractive alternative to more traditional offices downtown and in Uptown.
Quadrant’s buildings will have ground-level restaurants and upper-level outdoor terraces and balconies. The biggest owner in the Design District acquired more than a dozen properties in a single buy last year. HN Capital Partners in early 2022 led a partnership that bought about 40 acres and 800,000 square feet of showroom, office and retail space in the district.
