Law firm Simon Greenstone Panatier is moving to the 72-story Bank of America Plaza in downtown Dallas.
The $800 million deal gives Ryman Hospitality Properties Inc. a resort with 1,002 rooms and 268,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. The resort also includes the 26,000-square-foot Lantana Spa; eight food and beverage outlets; a 9-acre River Bluff water park; and TPC San Antonio featuring two 18-hole golf courses, the Greg Norman-designed Oaks Course and the Pete Dye-designed Canyons course.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Ryan Hoopes, Tom Sutherland and Dean Dahlsten represented the company in its search for a new downtown office in lease negotiations with Russ Johnson and Joel Pustmueller of Jones Lang LaSalle.“We believe this iconic landmark will offer an exceptional environment for their legal practice, and we look forward to their ongoing success and growth,” Metropolis managing director Tom Dempsey said in a statement.

This week, the city is hosting a series of town hall meetings. Dallas Police and Fire have laid out initial priorities for the bond. Police say their needs total $462 million dollars. Dallas Fire Rescue is asking for $265 million.The money for police would include $5.7 million for maintenance and renovations at five stations. Dallas Police would also use $25 to $50 million to build a new training academy at UNT Dallas.
