Dallas Moore spent most of last year on the road, playing 337 shows. With a wife and two-year-old daughter at home, Moore struggles with being away on the reflective tune “Everything But You,” whichOn the track, Moore laments of his dreams that keep him away from the ones he loves. Alongside soaring pedal steel and string features and Moore’s gruff vocals, the emotion is felt on “Everything But You.
“I played a grueling 337 shows last year and was constantly criss-crossing the USA making all the gigs then hauling ass back to my girls who were home at our TEXAHIO Ranch in southern Ohio,” he adds. “Everything was really taking off with thealbum that we were touring in support of at the time and I felt like I had everything I’ve ever wanted and worked so hard for. Everything but my wife and daughter that is.
