, written in 1965, sets the minimum number of parking spaces different businesses must have, but all these unused lots mean that we got the equation wrong somewhere along the way.this week as a first step to drafting an amendment to the parking code. City staff is interested in reducing or doing away with minimum parking requirements. This will let developers respond to the market and see how many parking spaces they actually need.
