Texas alumna Charli Collier was waived along with Kalani Brown before Dallas’ regular season opener Saturday against the Atlanta Dream.before taking Finland’s Awak Kuier with the following pick. That year, Dallas became the first team in the league’s history to make the top two selections in the same draft. Collier was the second Big 12 player to be taken with the top pick, joining Baylor’s Britney Griner . In two seasons with the Wings, Collier started 18 games, averaged 2.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and shot 46% from the field.
