In 1999, eight-months-pregnant Belinda Temple was shot in the back of the head. The couple shared a 3-year-old son at the time of her murder.Temple was convicted in 2007 and sentenced to life. While serving out his sentence in 2016, the conviction was overturned after it was found that prosecutors withheld evidence. He got a new trial three years later and was again found guilty.
