Ami Bera, a California Democrat, said he was bit by the fox Monday night, and Politico reporter Ximena Bustillo said she was bit Tuesday afternoon.The House sergeant-at-arms sent an alert to members and staff on Tuesday urging caution if they saw the animal.
"There are possibly several fox dens on Capitol Grounds. Animal Control is currently on the grounds seeking to trap and relocate any foxes they find. Foxes are wild animals that are very protective of their dens and territory," the alert said."Please do not approach any fox you see."
