DENVER — Israeli officials say at least 900 people have been killed, including at least 11 Americans, amid the war between Israel and Hamas.
In Gaza, authorities say more than 600 people have been killed and thousands more hurt, with dozens of Israelis taken hostage. "It's unprecedented,” said Ishey."It reminds a lot of people what happened 50 years ago during the Yom Kippur War in 1973 where Israel was attacked on two fronts by Arab countries. So a lot of people are evoking those memories.”"There's been an economic crisis that's been enduring. There's been effort for similar incursions, or rocket missiles, since 2006 with retaliatory action,” said Ishey.
