Temperatures in Denver could hit a high of 51 Sunday, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. A breeze will pick up in the afternoon with gusts that could reach up to 39 mph. The foothills and mountains outside of Denver are under a high wind warning between 3 p.m. Sunday and noon Tuesday for wind gusts that could reach 80 mph.
Snow is expected through Sunday afternoon in the mountains around Summit County and also the northern mountains around Steamboat Springs. Snow will spread across the I-70 Mountain Corridor and Summit County through the early morning hours. Already snow covered roads by Rabbit Ears and Cameron Passes. Snow continues through early afternoon, then decreases. Plan accordingly.
