A recovery operation is underway Sunday for a person that went underwater at a Fresno County lake.
Firefighters responded to the area of North Piedra and Tivy Valley roads for a water rescue of two people at Avocado Lake.
Crews found one person, who was pulled out of the water. Life-saving measures were performed by personnel before the victim was airlifted to a Fresno-area hospital. That person’s condition is not known.The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office is handling the recovery operation.
