SAN ANTONIO — Deputy Chief Jamie Rios, a top administrator for the jail, has resigned his position for family reasons, the Bexar County Sheriff's Office said."On October 9, 2023, Deputy Chief Jamie Rios resigned his position to take care of an aging and ailing family member in another part of the state. Having been there myself, it's certainly understandable and commendable. We are actively looking to replace him, as he was a valuable member of our team," Sheriff Salazar said.
