Severe flooding in parts of middle Tennessee has left at least 22 people dead and dozens unaccounted for, local authorities said on Sunday.

The woman was part of a group fleeing the Taliban in Afghanistan and was on the second stage of an evacuation flight that had taken off from a base in the Middle East.Thousands of desperate people gather at Kabul airport every day in the hope of fleeing Afghanistan's new Taliban rulers. According to a NATO official, at least 20 people have died in the past seven days in and around the airport.
