Disney Dreamlight Valley is going to be officially released this December with all new content, but it is no longer launching as free-to-play.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Disney Dreamlight Valley is going to have its official launch this December after having spent over a year in Early Access, but the original plan of being free-to-play seems to have vanished. There are many editions available, including three Founder's Packs available before the release and three editions that will be available at launch. With all of these options, it can be easy to get overwhelmed with which to purchase.
The unfortunate news, however, is that anyone who wants to upgrade their Founder's Pack is unable to do so without paying the full price of a different pack. This means if someone owns the Standard Edition Founder's Pack and would like the Regal Fox Animal Companion that comes in the Ultimate Edition Founder's Pack, they must pay the full price for the Ultimate Edition to upgrade rather than simply the extra amount on top of what was already paid.
